Event Day: February 21, 2015
The 2nd Annual Elysian Heights 5k is a fundraising event that builds a positive communal activity, inspires a healthier lifestyle, procures funds for enrichment activities (visual and performing arts and other after school programs) and provides teachers with additional funds to purchase 21st Century technology to enhance instruction.
As we continue to build on the communal bonding experience engendered by the Elysian Heights 5K, the school is broadening the impact of the event by partnering with a local hospital to learn about autoimmune diseases and donate 15% of the revenue from the 5K to the Arthritis Foundation.
Fundraising events of this nature rely on the support of generous donors and sponsors such as yourself; your donation will help ensure the success of this event. You can donate by making a check payable to “Elysian Heights Elementary” in the amount of your choosing or if you donate $500.00, $750.00, or $1,000.00 a small, medium, or large business logo will be placed on the official race shirt.
We wish to express our appreciation for your interest in our educational program. For your records our school’s Federal Tax ID number is 95-6001-908-W. We thank you for your consideration of our request and look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
We would also like to invite you and your organization to participate in our 5K. If you wish to register, please contact our school office or register online at http://elysianheightselementar
